Sources & Editorial Approach

The journal is not a collection of copied weather reports. The project team created its personal-entry structure, perception and weather categories, time windows, documented comparison rules, personal history analysis, ranking model, and the privacy-conscious presentation of grouped community reports.

External weather values are not republished as our own editorial forecast. They are used as a factual comparison baseline: after a saved expectation's time window has passed, the app evaluates it against documented thresholds. A result describes only a match under those rules, not causation or a diagnosis.

Current and retrospective weather values are supplied by Open-Meteo. They may include temperature, precipitation, wind, humidity, dew point, pressure, visibility, cloud cover, and weather codes. Attribution is displayed next to the weather values.

Open-Meteo data is licensed under CC BY 4.0. Under the provider's terms, commercial use requires an appropriate Open-Meteo plan. Model values and observation networks may contain gaps or local differences.

Map tiles and geographic data are provided by OpenStreetMap contributors. Manual place search uses the OpenStreetMap Nominatim service. The copyright attribution remains visible directly on the map.

The journal adds its own application layer to that base map: selectable radii, rounded and grouped community signals, weather-phenomenon icons, rank indicators, and personal location markers. These overlays are not part of OpenStreetMap.

Reports originate from voluntary entries by registered users. Before public display, locations are rounded and reports are grouped. Identities, exact locations, private notes, and individual health details are not displayed on the public map.

Community signals are subjective perceptions rather than official measurements. A small number of reports is not representative. Demonstration signals are generated only to explain the interface and are not presented as genuine user submissions.

Affiliate promotions are explicitly labelled as advertising. The ALL-INKL banner image is served locally; the external site opens only after an intentional click. The operator may receive a commission from a referred purchase. Stripe provides the external payment flow and invoice information.

Google AdSense remains disabled until policy review, content review, and a suitable consent solution are complete. Paid promotions and external services are not presented as original editorial content.

The project team is responsible for the concept, explanatory copy, and product decisions. Operator details and a direct contact method are available in the app's imprint. Factual errors, unclear attribution, or missing source relationships can be reported there and will be corrected transparently.

The journal is solely for personal self-observation. It does not replace an official weather forecast or medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
